When it comes to China National Building Materials Group's "going global", you may think of basic building materials such as cement. On the one hand, China National Building Materials Group has promoted my country's transformation from the world's largest importer of cement equipment to the world's largest exporter of modern cement equipment. It has laid out many basic building materials manufacturing bases such as cement, aggregates, and ready-mixed concrete in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Nigeria, Mongolia and other countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, achieving a cement production capacity of 3.75 million tons and an aggregate production capacity of 2 million tons, helping the construction of infrastructure in countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. On the other hand, as the world's most powerful new material product manufacturing platform, China National Building Materials Group actively leverages the advantages of the entire industrial chain and is committed to achieving high-end, mass production, and globalization of new material businesses such as lightweight building materials, glass fiber, carbon fiber, new glass materials, wind turbine blades, lithium battery separators, advanced ceramics, and artificial crystals.
In 2013, the first phase of Jushi Egypt Fiberglass Project was put into production; in 2017, Vietnam Phu My Ultra-Thin Float Glass Company was established; in 2018, Zambia Industrial Park was put into production and Tanzania Gypsum Board Factory was acquired; in 2022, Jushi US Fiberglass Factory was put into production. On August 25, 2023, the Central Asia Beixin Gypsum Board Production Line invested and constructed by China National Building Materials Group in Uzbekistan was ignited. This is the largest and most technologically advanced gypsum board production line in Central Asia, which can not only meet the extensive construction and decoration needs in Central Asia, but also provide more employment opportunities and sustainable economic growth for the local area.
It is understood that China National Building Materials Group plans to continue to build basic building materials industrial parks and new materials industrial parks in suitable regions along the "Belt and Road", integrate the group's new materials research and development advantages, results transformation advantages and industrial advantages, promote the industry and R&D results to take root locally, and guide enterprises in related industrial chains in my country to participate together to jointly build low-carbon and zero-carbon industrial parks.
